Reverentia was born not just from a love of skincare, but from necessity.
It began with a deeply personal journey, one that reshaped everything I thought I knew. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer, my body became hypersensitive. A persistent rash on my neck and face forced me to pause and truly listen. Through a process of elimination, I discovered that the skincare formulas I was using (infused with essential oils) were no longer serving me.
This became my turning point.
What followed was an intensive dive into the hidden complexities of “natural” skincare. I learned that many essential oils, though botanical in origin, can act as endocrine disruptors, especially in the high concentrations used across much of the beauty industry. My breast cancer, like 70–80% of all cases, was hormone receptor-positive, which means excess hormones were feeding the cancer. This awareness changed everything and inspired me to create a new approach, one that prioritizes hormonal harmony.
Guided by intuition, research, and the wisdom of my healing body, I began again. This time formulating skincare that is deeply nourishing, hormone-conscious, and truly effective. I’m deeply grateful to share that I am now cancer-free!
As I began to see profound results in my own skin, I shared this creation with friends who experienced their own transformations. It became clear that this blend was no longer just a personal remedy. It was a gift meant to be shared.
Reverentia is the result: a collection rooted in reverence for the skin, the rhythms of the body, and the resilience of the human spirit.
